I was fortunate enough to meet some incredible Malawians during my stay. Mwaona Nyirongo and Henry Soloman were two of many. Mwaona is currently working as a history and geography teacher in Zomba. Henry Jr. just took his high school finals and both he and Mwaona are hoping to come to the U.S. to attend college. Talks with the U.S. embassy in Malawi are underway in hopes to make this happen.
